StoriLuna Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

No reader accounts: You do not need an account to read or listen to StoriLuna. We do not collect names, passwords, or login credentials from readers.

Information you send us through forms:

• Request a Book: the book title, the author, and your email address.
• Contact Us: your name, your email address, and your message. If you contact us from the iOS app, your app version and device model are included unless you turn that option off.

Usage and analytics data: On the website, we use Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies to measure things like pages visited, time on page, and general location (country or city level). In the iOS app, we use TelemetryDeck, which collects anonymous, aggregated usage signals (for example, which screens are opened). TelemetryDeck does not use an advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Technical data: Like most online services, our servers and hosting providers receive your IP address, device and browser type, and request details when you load a page or audio file. We may also receive crash and diagnostic information to fix problems.

Search queries: When you search in the website or app, your search text is sent to our server to return results. We do not store search queries beyond short-lived server logs.

Content you upload: If you use an upload feature we make available, we receive the files you choose to upload and use them only to provide that feature.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Fulfil book requests and reply to your messages
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
• Understand which books and features are most useful, in aggregate
• Diagnose technical problems and fix bugs
• Monitor usage and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not send marketing emails.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the service providers that help us run StoriLuna, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Supabase (United States): database and hosting, including storage of request and contact form submissions
• Vercel: website hosting and content delivery
• Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of audio files
• Resend: delivery of form submissions to us by email
• Google Analytics: website analytics (website only)
• TelemetryDeck (European Union): anonymous app analytics (iOS app only)

We may also share information:

• With legal authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety
• In a business transfer if StoriLuna is merged, acquired, or restructured, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information

4. Data Retention

Form submissions: We keep book requests and contact messages until the request is fulfilled or the conversation is resolved, and for no longer than 12 months. After that, we delete them.

Analytics: Analytics data is kept according to the default retention settings of Google Analytics (website) and TelemetryDeck (app).

Server logs: Technical logs kept by our hosting providers are short-lived and deleted on a rolling basis.

App data in iCloud: Library, progress, and settings synced by the iOS app live in your own private iCloud account. We cannot access that data; it stays there until you delete it (see section 6).

You may ask us to delete your form submissions at any time by emailing kaycbas@gmail.com.

5. Cookies & Tracking

Website: We use cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

iOS app: The app does not use cookies and does not use advertising identifiers.

We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not allow third parties to do so through our Services.

6. The StoriLuna iOS App

The StoriLuna app does not require an account. Your library, reading and listening progress, settings, and downloaded audio are stored on your device. Your library, progress, and settings can also sync through your own private iCloud account so they follow you across your devices. Downloads stay on each device and are not synced. We cannot see or access your iCloud data.

To delete your app data:

• Deleting the app removes all data stored on that device, including downloads.
• To remove synced data from iCloud, open iOS Settings → [your name / Apple Account] → iCloud → Manage Storage, select StoriLuna, and delete its data.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access or request a copy of your data
• Request correction or deletion
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent (where applicable)

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

StoriLuna is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of our Services means you accept the updated policy.
