Evan is shocked, clarifies he meant her food choices looked good, not anything about her size, and compliments her figure directly.

The tension eases into playful flirting about her thrifted clothes and his designer style. They negotiate mock “raise-for-niceness” terms for flights and trade barbs about his call light demands. Stevie heads off to run an errand, and Evan stays back, watching to make sure she reaches her destination safely.
