Atroxus's fury reshapes the sky: flames spread across the horizon and lightning cracks overhead. Atroxus seizes Mische by the shoulders and burns her from within, declaring that because he made Mische, Mische will end with him.

Mische accepts the cost and chooses mutual destruction rather than obedience. Mische pulls the arrow from Atroxus's throat and drives it into Atroxus's chest, setting both god and traitor aflame.
