Summary
In the aftermath of Rain’s death and Winn’s injuries, Griffin maintains a sleepless vigil at Winn’s hospital bedside. Despite pleas from family, nurses, and doctors to rest, Griffin refuses to let go of Winn’s hand, terrified by her pallor and the possibility she won’t wake.
Talia brings coffee and urges Griffin to take a break, but he remains unmoved, determined to be present if Winn returns to consciousness. Covie offers quiet support, and through the long night a nurse provides a blanket as time drags on without change.
