45: Chris

Over a week of living together, Chris and Larissa share meals, errands, and late-night talks, deepening their bond. They secure a small business loan and spend days thrifting plates and boards for Larissa’s graze tables, culminating in a New Year’s Eve spent preparing charcuterie and quietly celebrating together.

When Mike calls, Chris steps into the garage to take it. Mike, bruised from the earlier fight, asks after Larissa, learns Donna added nuts to the café menu, and apologizes for his behavior, saying he’s seeking help and offering anonymous support.
