Epilogue
Overview
Eloise discovers she is pregnant the night before and spends the next day helping Lyla step away from overwork. During a quiet walk, Jasper proposes a formal wedding, but they choose a honeymoon instead. The decision affirms their unconventional marriage, and four months later Jasper surprises Eloise with a return to Paris.
Summary
One month after regaining control of the hotel, Eloise and Jasper visit Eden Coffee on their day off. Reeling from a positive pregnancy test the night before, Eloise channels her nerves into staging an intervention for Lyla, insisting Lyla take the afternoon off to avoid burnout. With Crystal able to cover, Lyla reluctantly agrees to leave.
Eloise and Jasper stroll through downtown Quincy, processing the pregnancy news together. When Jasper asks if Eloise wants a formal wedding, Eloise considers the meaning of their Clover Chapel elopement and declines, not wanting to overwrite that memory.
They agree to skip a wedding and plan a honeymoon instead, with Eloise asking Jasper to surprise her. Four months later, with their daughter growing, Jasper fulfills the promise by taking Eloise back to Paris, cementing their commitment to build memories on their own terms.
