Overview
Gigi, rattled by Scott Pierce’s threat, plans a quiet night at home. Two men approach from the woods: Everett and Alex Benson, the former hospital "John Doe." Gigi hides Rowen in the garage, but Everett betrays her and tasers her unconscious, escalating the danger and revealing a deeper conspiracy.
Summary
Uneasy after Scott Pierce’s threat, Gigi decides to stay home and avoid discussing it in public with Jess. As dusk settles, she spots two moving lights approaching from the woods and realizes two men are closing in on the farmhouse.
Acting quickly, Gigi grabs Rowen, explains the danger, and sends her to hide in the locked garage through the cat door, instructing her to stay hidden until Gigi or Jess arrives. Gigi then hides inside, regretting leaving her phone in the kitchen.
The men reach the porch and ring the doorbell, surprising Gigi. When she cracks the door, she recognizes Everett with another man who turns out to be the former hospital "John Doe," Alex Benson. Benson urges haste, noting Jess’s usual arrival time, and asks about taking the child.
Gigi screams when Benson mentions Rowen, but Everett dismisses the child as irrelevant and focuses on Gigi. Calling her "Carlson" and wearing an ominous expression, Everett closes in. He drives a stun device into Gigi’s ribs, knocking her unconscious, leaving Rowen hidden and Gigi taken before Jess can arrive.
