That night, Junior and his brother Alec are deep in the woods digging an unusually deep hole to bury a heavy, mysterious box for their father. They pass time speculating about the contents — a head, a chalice, gold, plutonium — while Junior's earlier knife wound bleeds through his bandages. Mid-dig, Junior receives a Me4U photo blast from Lauren, tips her, and gets a more revealing image, fueling his fixation.

Alec presses Junior about what he said to Lauren that prompted her to threaten to tase him. Junior admits he provoked her about their teen history. Alec accuses him of having ruined Lauren's life by denying their relationship.
