Summary
Lucy lands on PEI in March and meets Felix at the terminal, their easy chemistry surging back after months of calls and shared cooking from afar. Instead of going straight to Salt Cottages, she directs him to Point Prim Road, withholding the reason until they reach a snow-covered field behind a metal gate.
At the property, Lucy reveals she bought the land—sight unseen except for Zach’s inspection—to build her flower farm, because PEI is where she wants her life. She then gives Felix an annotated copy of Anne of the Island, signaling a homecoming-and-true-love message. Gathering courage, Lucy tells Felix he’s in all her dreams and asks if she’s in his.
Felix answers with a kiss and a declaration that she fills all his dreams. Their mutual confessions cascade into a fervent exchange of love: Felix details everything he loves about Lucy, and Lucy says the words she’s held back—I love you. They hurry to Felix’s house, where desire and relief carry them through an intense night together.
They make love multiple times, pausing only for food, water, and a fire, settling finally into the safety of each other. By morning, Lucy discovers her photo on Felix’s fridge alongside the books and seeds she sent, affirming his steady devotion. She greets him as “my love,” both of them content and clearly committed.
