Summary
Harriet and Wyn return to a strangely quiet house and discover Parth alone on the shore. Parth admits he and Sabrina fought the night before and that she left and hasn’t answered calls. Harriet frames Sabrina’s fear through their families’ conflict patterns, convincing Parth that Sabrina ran from fear of not being worth pursuing, not from lack of love.
The group mobilizes: Wyn and Parth search by car; Harriet and Cleo canvass town staples with no luck. With hotels full and Sabrina’s phone dead, Harriet remembers Sabrina’s attachment to sailing and her parents’ wedding site, and they drive to a wooded chapel they locate by GPS.
