The Wild and Untamed

In a hidden, enchanted cliffside castle, Temural, god of the wild and untamed, hurries to his sister Saylah, goddess of night and shadows. He demands a way to get someone into Devram, a realm closed to gods and unaware of their existence.

Saylah challenges Temural’s secrecy and refuses aid without cause. Temural reveals he intends to send the Huntress Auryon, prompting Saylah to note he rarely deploys a Huntress. He insists the mission is to train and protect a girl, not to feed death. Under pressure, Temural admits the girl is his daughter.

Temural explains Akira placed his daughter in Devram and that Taika helped her before he learned the truth. He sent his Guardian, Xan, to escort Xan’s son to serve as the daughter’s Guardian, but no word has come back. Auryon, arriving in a flurry of ash, has already seen the daughter through a dream plane with Serafina’s help and witnessed an attack by an Achaz Legacy.

Understanding the danger—Achaz’s vendetta against Arius and Serafina’s bloodline—Saylah agrees the girl needs protection but says her own children cannot be deployed without just cause. She concludes that merely having a world walker is insufficient and that only the High Queen of the World Walkers can open a path into Devram.

Temural accepts the condition, and Saylah indicates the High Queen will likely bargain but be willing. With Xan missing and the Achaz threat looming, Temural’s path forward is set: secure the High Queen’s aid so Auryon can reach Devram and train his daughter to survive.
