18. Tessa

Tessa finds herself on a high balcony overlooking fields, mountains with perpetual lightning, and a distant city, sensing an otherworldly setting. A stunning female with grey, gold-flecked eyes and familiar hair—Akira—joins her in silence before a second, terrifyingly beautiful female appears, shimmering with a silver aura and violet eyes.

The second female confirms a ritual or plan “worked,” and Akira notes she has sent word with Altaria to an unnamed male who was unhappy but ultimately accepted their reasoning. The second warns that time is short; she is actively holding Tessa in this space and cannot do so for long before the male senses Tessa’s presence.

Akira reveals that Tessa called the Hunters that day and they answered, while the Huntresses answer only to the unnamed male, though he will send them as he once did for Akira. Akira adds that the wild and untamed also answered Tessa’s call, marking Tessa as her father’s daughter and already powerful, with more to come.

Akira asserts that her own father intended to use Tessa against her for petty revenge, but foresees Tessa becoming an unyielding storm of wrath and vengeance in the mortal world. As the enchantment fades, Akira cups Tessa’s face, blesses her brow, and warns that Tessa will break—urging her to rise and claim what is hers.
