Mikail reports a recent assassination attempt on Queen Quilimar, which has sealed palace access, making their plan to reach the throne far more difficult. With only four weeks left, the group reallocates tasks: Sora and Aeri will approach General Vikal to gather information and forge access; Royo may accompany them as protection. Mikail will consult the Yusanian Ambassador Zeolin for a path past the Rule of Distance, while Euyn must stay hidden due to his bounty.

Euyn proposes researching exceptions to the Rule of Distance at Khitan’s Temple of Knowledge. Mikail notes the temple lies under a frozen lake within a glass dome, complicating entry but offering a potential legal loophole for an audience.
