Summary
Driving home from a funeral in Iowa to Minneapolis, Alexis swerves in the fog to avoid a raccoon and slides into a shallow ditch. Shaken and stuck in mud, she calls roadside assistance and faces an hour-long wait. While trying to free herself from uncomfortable shapewear, headlights approach.
A bearded local man with a friendly dog, Hunter, checks on Alexis and offers help, warning that the tow truck driver will be delayed. Alexis, embarrassed but relieved, allows him to hook up her car. He tows her back onto the road and confirms there’s no damage, refusing payment and wishing her a safe drive.
