Fortos blocks Diem and her mother in a godstone cell while taunting and torturing Luther outside. As Fortos bleeds out, his voice changes—an ancient, overwhelming presence speaks through him, calling Diem “Daughter of the Forgotten.” Diem’s godhood surges in response; blinding light floods the corridor, a shaft opens to the sky, and a heavy, sacred pressure settles like a crown. The presence warns of a sister’s words and a brother’s wrath before commanding Diem to claim.

When the radiance fades, Luther kneels in reverence: Diem’s Crown has transformed, signaling a new bond. He names what has happened—Diem has just been made the Queen of Fortos—upending their escape plan and the realm’s balance of power.
