Summary
In a dark stone tunnel, the Hassassin waits before an ancient iron door. The air is damp and stale, and the only light comes from his torch as he holds his position in silence.
The Hassassin trusts the instructions given by Janus, who promised that someone inside would open the door at the appointed time. The promised betrayal impresses him, confirming that the people behind the operation are organized and committed.
At exactly the expected hour, heavy keys turn on the far side of the door and three old deadbolts are unlocked. After waiting the instructed five minutes, the Hassassin pushes the door open and proceeds into the next stage of his mission.
