Overview
Catherine distracts production so Julia can secretly spend the night with Emmett, preserving appearances while deepening their off-camera relationship. Summary
Julia and Catherine coordinate a covert plan: Catherine will distract Emmett and the cameras at the front while Julia slips in through the back so Emmett appears to return home nightly as usual. Julia drives off visibly, then doubles back on foot to Emmett’s house.
Outside, Emmett and Catherine stage an emotional-sounding exchange for the cameras to sell the illusion. Inside, Julia waits, tense and excited. When Emmett enters, their mutual restraint snaps. They have urgent, intense sex, releasing days of pent-up desire and risk.
Afterward, Emmett shifts from feral to tender, carrying Julia to the shower. He admits she’s tied him in knots and hints at deeper feelings, fearing what they mean within the show’s manipulation. Julia reassures him he’s worth it and that she isn’t afraid of this connection.
Emmett holds Julia close, silently acknowledging truth he can’t yet say aloud. They return to bed and make love repeatedly, cementing their bond while maintaining the ruse Catherine helped set up outside.
