Summary
Nate shops with JJ and Henry, rejecting lingerie and choosing two pajama sets for Anastasia, aligning with what Anastasia said she wanted. The trio banter with a sales assistant, Gen, and Nate has an awkward checkout with Summer. Nate reflects on having secretly resumed sex with Anastasia the night before.
Back home, a Christmas party is in full swing. Anastasia, tipsy and playful in an elf outfit, openly dotes on Nate. Robbie hosts a drunk Twister game; Gen arrives with JJ. During the game, Anastasia’s compromising position near Henry prompts teasing, highlighting Nate’s possessive concern, but the round ends when Henry lifts a hand to flirt with Gen.
Later, Henry’s attempt to hook up with Gen is foiled by nosy friends. Nate searches for Anastasia and spots her across the room wearing a Titans T-shirt. Before she reaches Nate, Ryan embraces her, touching her repeatedly while drunk, provoking Nate’s jealousy though he holds back.
Anastasia disentangles from Ryan, finds Nate, and asks him to rescue her next time. She clarifies she told Ryan she’s with Nate and that his touchiness can’t continue. Relieved, Nate kisses her, and they reaffirm their mutual commitment, turning a potential conflict into a moment that solidifies their relationship.
