Overview
After a demoralizing preseason loss, Logan skips partying to be with Grace. Their movie night is cut short by Ramona’s SOS from a motel room with St. Anthony’s players. Logan confronts the coked-up group and extracts Ramona, intensifying the Briar–St. Anthony’s hostility. Grateful and shaken, Grace withholds an “I love you,” waiting for Logan to say it first.
Summary
Logan leaves the arena furious after a 0–5 preseason loss to St. Anthony’s and declines Dean’s invite to drink, choosing a movie night with Grace. The couple reconnects intimately, trying to shake off the game.
Their plans are interrupted when Ramona sends an SOS. Grace calls back and learns Ramona is trapped in a motel room with hockey players who won’t let her leave. Logan drives them to the Hastings motel, where they spot St. Anthony’s team bus.
At Room 33, Logan confronts St. Anthony’s players Keswick and Gordon amid loud music and taunts. Threatening to involve their coach and exposing their cocaine use, Logan forces a path inside and returns with a frightened Ramona.
When Gordon is holding Ramona’s phone, Logan demands and catches it, diffusing the standoff without a fight. Grace ushers Ramona to the truck, where Ramona explains she’d come with the expectation a friend, Jess, would join, but Jess bailed, leaving her isolated as the players escalated.
They drive back in tense silence. Logan prioritizes Ramona’s safety over their night, deepening Grace’s admiration. Grace recognizes she loves Logan but, still wary from past hurt, decides to wait for him to say it first.
