After a tender morning in the greenhouse, the Starmaker retreats into brusque distance, fearing their closeness will worsen Aurora’s pain when he is gone. On the glacier, tempers flare, but they proceed to pull the light, and Aurora unexpectedly channels more than ever despite trying to resist.
