Dante reluctantly agrees to attend as a witness, since acting differently would draw suspicion.

At the Kingdom, a four-story former tobacco warehouse owned by the BBB, Roman hands Yellaboy the money along with a separate envelope as a personal bribe, hinting at future cooperation. Yellaboy threatens him over Splodie but pockets the cash. Roman observes the lavish, hedonistic club while Dante reconnects with an old acquaintance, Desiree, on the dance floor.

Roman strikes up a flirtatious, nerdy conversation with a charming woman named Jealousy ('Jae') Evers, an administrative assistant at the mayor's office. They share personal histories—including Roman revealing his mother's disappearance. Their connection is interrupted when Torrent and Tranquil arrive: Jae is revealed to be their half-sister. Torrent warns Roman away unless he's paying tribute or dating Jae, while Tranquil radiates murderous intent. Roman learns their real names: Terrance and Tracy.

Roman stays through the night, drinking little, while Jae continues bonding with him. As the party empties at 4 A.M., Roman positions himself near Torrent's group on the street. Counting down, he watches for Khalil's signal—a drive-by attack he orchestrated. When a car roars in, Roman shouts 'GUN!' and pulls Torrent and Jae to the pavement, saving them as automatic fire shreds the club's entrance. Tranquil empties his clip at the fleeing car.

In the aftermath, an older man named Russell collapses, bleeding from the nose and convulsing—apparently suffering an aneurysm from the chaos. Roman rushes to help the man's distraught companion as Dante calls 911, while bystanders film. Roman has now positioned himself as Torrent's savior, deepening his infiltration of the BBB.
