Dante returns home after another night away, exhausted and drug-dependent. Roman probes him about Cassidy, warning that her appearance in town would be disastrous given Torrent's rage following the lost gun shipment. Dante secretly texts Cassidy on a burner phone, telling her Roman hasn't fixed things yet, then numbs himself with edibles and ketamine, reflecting bitterly on his father and the day his mother disappeared.

Neveah summons Roman to the crematory. She has noticed two unaccounted-for urns and three missing cremation crates. Roman lies, claiming he found unmarked cremains and processed them himself. Neveah, who knows every detail of the business, sees through him and accuses him of destroying bodies to cover crimes connected to Dante's drug debt, warning of felony charges. She breaks down crying, mentions her certainty that their father killed their mother, and speeds away in her truck.

Roman follows her, trying to flag her down. At a red light on Lucy and Lilyhammer, a purple car carrying Ghost Town Crew members pulls up; gunmen lean out the back window with semiautomatic rifles aimed at Neveah's truck. Roman rams the purple car at forty mph, deflecting their fire, and Neveah escapes through the red light. The GTC then chase Roman, shattering his windshield, until he loses them. The rental car dies near home.

Roman calls Dante to keep Neveah at the house, then calls Khalil. He suspects Chauncey set them up—using the GTC to either extort Roman or punish Neveah. Roman directs Khalil to tail Chauncey and assign his available man to shadow Neveah. At home, Roman tells Dante what happened; Dante urges they leave town, but Roman insists they must finish what they started. Dante accuses Roman of enjoying the criminal life and being good at making money for Torrent.

Roman tries to comfort Neveah, who has wet herself in fear. She refuses to call the police, noting Chauncey's influence, and demands the brothers stop whatever they're doing. She slams the door. Roman silently vows to fix it, sensing the end is near.
