Summary
After the fighting, Harry repairs castle stonework and publicly thanks Lara before her people depart with the shattered Renfields. Residents return; Harry reassures Maggie and praises Fitz, warning he has made Malvora enemies. Basil and the gargoyles collect broken Cinnamon to mend. Ramirez, Butters, Daniel, the Alphas, Father Forthill, and Rabbi Aaronson arrive safely.
In a gym war council, they tally light injuries and read Drakul’s warning note. They puzzle over his motives. Butters proposes the strike was a purge, not a hit.
