Overview

Summary
Russ begins the day confiding in JJ over video call, admitting anxiety about breaking rules and wanting to stay out of trouble. JJ urges Russ to stop anticipating disaster, embrace confidence, and pursue what makes him happy, namely his growing connection with Aurora.
Later at the lake, Russ and Aurora picnic and swim. Prompted by Aurora’s question about his tidiness, Russ shares that he learned to keep things in order to preempt his father’s volatile moods. Aurora responds with empathy and positions herself close, encouraging him to continue opening up.
