Summary
At dawn in Russ’s cabin, Russ wakes with Aurora in his arms. Playful touching turns into escalating intimacy as Aurora begins to pleasure him, revealing how much she has wanted this. Their moment is abruptly cut short when Xander walks in from night duty, forcing a scramble for modesty and leaving them both shocked and laughing.
Still amused, Aurora dresses to slip back to her cabin, and Xander cracks jokes from the doorway about needing the bathroom. After Aurora departs, Russ and Xander debrief lightly: Xander guesses she borrowed a condom, teases Russ about a summer romance, and promises to keep the secret.
Later, Russ heads to breakfast and meets Aurora on the path. Aurora worries she made Russ break rules and jeopardize their jobs, showing rare uncertainty. Russ reassures her that he doesn’t regret the night and is trying to let go of constant worry.
As they near the hall, Aurora admits no one has told her they genuinely like her beyond sex, and that seeing Russ is the best part of her day. Russ confesses he likes her a lot and is happy last night happened. They agree to be discreet at camp, patient with each other, and to explore something meaningful despite the rules.
