Rowan drives from Boston to a remote cabin for the group’s annual game, proudly wearing an over-the-top dragon costume that exasperates his wife, Sloane. En route, Sloane detours to a local barn dance in Linsmore for intel and returns with bootleg “whiskey,” teasing Rowan about his dubious, possibly semi-permanent poster paint.

At the cabin, Lachlan and Lark greet them, mocking Rowan’s costume while Sloane and Lark quietly confer about fresh leads for the game. Banter gives way to surprise when Rose arrives—raccoon in tow—shortly followed by Fionn, who admits he came to ensure Lachlan had a doctor if needed.
