Summary
As negotiations resume under Kharn Sagara’s pavilion, Tor Varro suggests channeling Cielcin attacks toward the Norman Freeholds. Hadrian and Jinan reject weaponizing the Cielcin against other human polities, and the group abandons that tactic. The Cielcin delegation arrives, and Hadrian advances a different plan.
Raine Smythe presents a galactic projection to demonstrate the immense scale of human civilization and military power. Prince Aeta Aranata is shocked but rejects subordination. Hadrian proposes neutrality, but cultural frames clash; Aranata equates cooperation and reciprocity with servitude.
