71. Sylphie Gets a New friend

Jake, Sylphie, and her parents return safely to Haven. Sylphie clings to Jake in silence until she departs into her evolution space, seeking the post–level 100 stat surge. Jake resumes crafting while Mystie and Hawkie wait, trusting Sylphie to grow through the experience.

Within the evolution space, Sylphie is invited to the realm of the Primordial Stormild. Confronted by a cosmic, ever-shifting avian entity, Sylphie treats Stormild as a potential friend and proves unfazed by the Primordial’s overwhelming presence. Stormild offers blessings; Sylphie indignantly rejects a Lesser, then a Major, then a Greater Blessing, objecting to their labels and implications.

After playful yet pointed exchanges where Stormild questions Sylphie—especially about “Uncle” Jake—Stormild offers a higher boon. Sylphie finally accepts a Divine Blessing of Stormild, gaining +10% Agility and Intelligence, access to new paths, the title Holder of a Primordial’s Divine Blessing, and the Legendary skill Ritual: Union Oath of Stormild, alongside flat and percentage stat increases.

Cutaway: In space, Vilastromoz, the Malefic Viper, meets Stormild as she condenses from a devouring cosmic storm. They discuss Sylphie’s unique nature, her immunity to Stormild’s presence, and her repeated rejection of blessings. Stormild infers Jake’s extraordinary presence and hints at bloodline-level power or transcendence.

Stormild expands back into her true, galaxy-consuming storm-form and departs, while the Viper’s avatar disperses, musing on the risks and utility of Stormild knowing about Jake and Sylphie. The encounter foreshadows growing cosmic attention on Jake through Sylphie’s new bond.
