Overview

Summary
On Day 3, Alexis watches from between Kharon and Augustus as Hades floods the arena with lethal darkness. Without moving, Hades forces five Cyclopes to tear themselves apart, reclaiming the fog with a final whoosh. The display terrifies and awes Alexis, reminding her of the dormant Chthonic power within her.
Day 4 opens with Zeus announcing Erebus. Masked and weaponless, Erebus summons towering shadows that harden into knives and simultaneously impale all five Cyclopes through the heart. The effortless kill unsettles Kharon, whom Alexis notes is Erebus’s son, while the crowd exults in fear and fascination.
On Day 5, Aphrodite enters in a Spartan helm with a sphinx set aside and wields a golden ax. She refuses to use her kiss-based power, instead demolishing the Cyclopes with overwhelming physical ferocity, decapitating and dismembering them until the stunned crowd falls silent. Helen, Patro, and Augustus watch anxiously, then with relief, as Aphrodite departs triumphant.
At the packed symposium, loud rock replaces formal music. Separated from Kharon and Augustus, Alexis confronts Titus, the Dionysian guard who once tormented her. He offers an apology and claims growth, but Alexis rejects him coldly, voicing the rage she once kept quiet and refusing forgiveness. Kharon and Augustus rejoin her, approving her stance.
Zeus halts the revelry for a toast, saluting the younger Chthonics who begin their rounds the next day. Alexis meets his stare, holds it, and pointedly winks, choosing intimidation over appeasement as psychological lines harden ahead of the coming trials.
