Chapter 49: Federation Meeting

Two weeks after Zeus’s disgrace, Athena assumes interim leadership and calls the federation to order. As she speaks, Medusa notices repeated omens—frozen time at 2:22 and faint lights above people’s heads—while enduring slurs and struggling to appear composed.

Athena announces the core agenda: Medusa’s case. She pardons Medusa of all alleged crimes on the condition that Medusa attend ROU to study Fate. Hades objects to the risk of an Olympian campus and proposes constant protection. With no objections from the chamber—silenced by Chthonic pressure—Athena accepts the stipulation.

Athena finalizes arrangements: Medusa will enroll in Fate studies; the Crimson Duo will enroll in War studies and shadow her constantly.
