By a roaring campfire, Gideon accompanies Keeley and a handpicked unit of Malevolent Guards preparing to move before first light. Keeley outlines a plan to exploit the dawn shift change, subdue two Valiant Guards, and replace them to protect the female guvre. Despite enjoying Keeley’s company, Gideon steels himself to expose what he believes is her betrayal.
