Overview
Keres plays along with Ace and Romeo, then secretly sedates them and pretends to sleep over. Once they are unconscious, she unlocks Romeo’s phone and clones it to surveil all communications. A brief pang of guilt hardens into resolve, marking the start of her deeper infiltration of the Moretti operation.
Summary
Keres asks for stronger drinks and flirts with Ace and Romeo, agreeing to stay the night and postpone another round. She steers the drinks, giving Ace whiskey and Romeo beer, while masking her intent with banter about changing sheets and settling into bed.
After they finish their nightcaps and lie down, the sedatives Keres slipped into their drinks take effect. Ace and Romeo quickly fall asleep beside her. Keres confirms they are fully out and quietly dresses.
Using Romeo’s phone and his sleeping face to unlock it, Keres overcomes a momentary pang of guilt by recalling the Morettis’ trafficking and the likely roles these men play. She connects a burner device and clones Romeo’s phone so she can intercept calls, texts, emails, and DMs.
With the surveillance foothold secured, Keres reaffirms her mission against the Morettis, turning the night’s seduction into a strategic advance in her investigation.
