EPILOGUE

Kenji and Winston return to the room while Juliette is still affected by her reunion with Adam. Juliette asks how the new suit is meant to help her, and Kenji is briefly left speechless by her appearance.

Winston explains that the suit is designed to solve Juliette’s constant problem of accidental contact. The material adjusts to temperature, stays light and breathable, and protects others from Juliette’s touch while still allowing her to choose intentional contact when she wants it.

Juliette notices that her hands and feet remain exposed, so Winston fetches black ankle boots and long black gloves to complete the outfit. Juliette puts them on and feels powerful, flexible, and physically free in a way she rarely has before.

As Juliette, Adam, Kenji, and Winston leave the room, Adam removes Juliette’s left glove and takes her hand, showing that their connection remains safe and intimate. Juliette feels renewed and confident, recognizing that her circumstances are changing but that she is no longer afraid.
