Summary
Four and a half months after the injury, Charly attends a small “stroke group” with Angela and Alex, led by psychologist Dr. Foster. Alex, on water restriction for low sodium, fixates on thirst and spars with Angela. When refused water, Alex explodes, leaps up, and drinks from a sink before staff restrain him, highlighting the volatility and frustration within rehab.
Dr. Foster prompts Angela to discuss her long-term boyfriend, Bobby, and the fear that accepting his care will destroy their relationship.
