Moneo then conveys Tleilaxu disclosures: they supplied Ix with advice and equipment to perform a shielded “cellular restructuring” some twenty-six years earlier. Malky entered the chamber and later emerged with an infant. Leto confirms by inference this was Hwi Noree and notes Hwi mirrors Malky as his opposite, including sex.

When Moneo proposes sending Hwi back to Ix, Leto forbids it and orders Moneo to fetch Hwi gently, reassuring her of Leto’s kindly intent. Leto also ensures Anteac heard these revelations, expecting it to stir factions.
