Summary
Pip tells Connor and Ravi that Layla appears to be targeting men aged twenty-nine to thirty to find “Child Brunswick,” Scott Brunswick’s son, and likely believes he lives in Little Kilton. They infer Jamie’s meeting with Luke Eaton was to test him with the phrase; when Luke didn’t react, Jamie likely went to meet someone else who did.
The trio begins deeper research despite injunctions on Child Brunswick’s identity. They compile rumors: a 2009 Devon exposure scare, a 2014 false-ID contempt case, and Dartford gossip that led to a suicide. The search illustrates public danger and misinformation around the case.
