Overview
Pip lures Stanley to the abandoned farmhouse while Ravi and Connor break into his home. Inside Stanley’s house, they discover Jamie alive but padlocked in a downstairs toilet, urging them to leave because of a deal he made. As Stanley exits the farmhouse, Pip steps out to distract him, revealing she is Layla.
The discovery that Jamie is alive shifts the case’s urgency from search to extraction, while Pip’s reveal escalates the confrontation with Stanley.
Summary
At the moonlit farmhouse, Pip hides nearby awaiting Stanley Forbes, while Ravi and Connor move to break into Stanley’s house. Over the phone, Pip guides them as they quietly force the back door, reminding Ravi not to touch any potential evidence belonging to Jamie.
Stanley arrives at the farmhouse and enters, while Ravi and Connor explore Stanley’s dark kitchen. Suddenly they hear a voice: Jamie. Connor rushes toward the sound despite Ravi’s warning, and they discover Jamie alive, locked in a downstairs toilet secured with a chain and padlock. Through the door, Jamie insists they must leave because he has made a deal.
As this unfolds, Pip sees Stanley re-emerge from the farmhouse interior and head back toward his car. With no time to coordinate, Pip decides to distract him so Ravi and Connor can free Jamie and get him to safety.
Pip runs from cover and confronts Stanley at the farmhouse threshold. Recognizing her in the moonlight, Stanley realizes the truth and asks in shock if Pip is Layla, confirming the bait worked and setting up a direct confrontation.
