Conflicting accounts of Leto’s fate unsettle Alia. Though a Truthsayer affirmed Ghanima’s story of a Laza tiger killing Leto, reports from Namri and Muriz suggest a surviving child performing impossible desert feats. Alia rejects the “superstitions” but cannot reconcile the contradictions.
