Carl and Donut decide to capture Raul for their deck, planning to drop him into the truck, mute him, and trap him while Carl attacks with Phase Through Wall potions.

As Carl and Donut sneak closer, Raul appears to call them out, but Carl realizes Raul is only rehearsing intimidating lines to build confidence. Donut casts Hole beneath Raul, dropping the crab into the truck’s cargo area, then casts Mute while trying to pull the roll-up door shut with her teeth and weighted tail. Carl phases through the truck and attacks Raul, using the potion’s brief duration to move through the walls and floor while avoiding the crab’s claws.

The plan partly fails because Donut cannot close the truck door, but Carl and Donut keep Raul contained through pressure and debuffs. Donut uses Brain Freeze and a magic missile, while Carl adds a fear-inducing smoke curtain and continues punching Raul until the frightened crab stops fighting. Carl tags Raul with a flag, turning him into a common card and resetting the deck.

After the capture, Carl realizes using the phase potion immediately was risky and that the door could have been closed easily by hand. Donut defends her failed attempt by pointing out that the rope required thumbs and leverage. As the rain strengthens and Carl prepares to move, a system message announces Semiramis’s re-ascension, and a Chowder War quest update reveals Sister Ines has warned the monk seals about the crabs’ treachery, making a slaughter likely without intervention.
