Summary
Luka Travels to Arius manor and reunites with Theon, who updates him on Axel’s abrupt departure and Katya’s worsening state. They discuss Rordan’s leverage over Luka, Dex shadowing Tessa, and Tessa agreeing to let Theon attend the gala. Luka explains being pulled into Tessa’s visions and fears they’re being altered.
Theon brings Luka to consult Razik and Eliza. An uneasy exchange confirms Razik and Luka share parents, Aiyana and Xan, making them full brothers, though Razik responds with cold indifference. Luka suppresses the hurt and refocuses on the visions.
Luka reveals that Lilura warned them someone is altering Tessa’s visions and that a dragon shifter named Saylor recognized Razik in a sky-island realm, identified as Nordrir (now the Requiem). Razik doubts Saylor is the manipulator but presses for why Tessa sees that world.
Together they hypothesize Tessa’s lineage: Achaz interwoven with a daughter of Zinta, Temural as father, and Arius/Serafina heritage—implying a being “not meant to exist” whose magic may not deplete like others. They note Tessa’s reserves seem inexhaustible and her gifts skew Achaz, with unexplained lightning/weather.
Eliza urges a formal meeting with Tessa, but scrutiny makes it risky. They decide to seek answers in a vast Falein catacomb library, requiring Theon to obtain documents and Eliza to “act accordingly.” Razik plans to borrow Katya’s twin-flame text. After Razik and Eliza Travel away, Theon notes the revelation: Luka has a brother who doesn’t seem to care.
