Overview
Theon bargains with Shifter leaders Kylian and Giselle to find a long-missing Shifter prince in exchange for Arius holdings intel. Tristyn reveals he is Pax’s son and recounts Khari’s capture at Sirana Villas and the breeding experiments there. Katya offers to contact Khari. News breaks: the Villas’ Legacy are slain and the Fae freed.
Summary
Theon, lacking Axel and Luka, visits the Shifter leaders Kylian and Giselle with Tristyn and Katya. Despite tension over Tristyn’s presence, Theon demands disclosure of Arius holdings in the Leisure District. The power-shifter mates refuse coin and propose a bargain instead.
Kylian and Giselle demand Theon find their missing Shifter Prince—Khari’s child—gone for twenty-three years. Theon accepts, earning a Bargain Mark and a promise of the holdings’ locations upon success. Back at the penthouse, Theon confronts Tristyn.
Tristyn reveals he is not a Legacy but Pax’s son and a deity, and Cienna is his full sister through Taika’s line. He has waited 459 years for Lilura. He recounts seeking Shifter help when a lost child arrived in Devram: Khari aided his search, fell in love with a water Fae, but was later captured in the Celeste Kingdom and taken to Sirana Villas, where forced breeding experiments were conducted.
They conclude the search should start with speaking to Khari. Katya insists on helping and offers to approach Khari, pressing Theon to accept support while Axel and Luka are absent.
Before they can plan further, urgent messages report a massacre at the Sirana Villas: all Legacy dead and the Fae gone—evidence that the hidden operation has been violently dismantled.
