Overview
Gwen, facing a terminal countdown, writes decisive messages steering Robin away from their dangerous world, framing Schrödinger as a manipulative troll and reaffirming trust in Colin. After sending them, Colin briefly texts praise, then deletes it, revealing unnerving control and deepening Gwen’s fear of his power.
Summary
Late at night, Gwen sits outside in the snow, acutely aware of her limited time left. Determined to protect Robin, she composes three messages designed both to warn Robin off and to be seen by Colin, suspecting he may be monitoring her communications.
In the messages, Gwen tells Robin that Donna mediated a talk with Colin and that Schrödinger lied to sow division. She cites a private phrase Arthur once used with Colin as proof Colin was not Arthur’s killer, and orders Robin to cut contact with her, Allie, Donna, and Colin for her own safety.
After sending the notes, Gwen receives a text from Colin—“Well done. You just saved Robin Fellows’s life.”—which soon vanishes. Realizing Colin can erase messages, Gwen is shaken by his reach; she weighs whether Colin’s manipulative power is more frightening than King Sorrow’s menace.
