Gwen arrives home drained, intending to collapse, but spots a figure on her steps. Robin Fellows stands to meet her, luggage at her sides and makeup immaculate, signaling she ignored Gwen’s evasive texts. Robin’s presence makes clear she expects real answers, not more deflection.

Before Gwen can respond, a salt-streaked Elantra pulls up. Tana rolls down the window with Allie in the passenger seat, looking miserable and only partly remorseful. Their arrival collides Gwen’s separate problems—Robin’s suspicions and Allie’s crisis—into one moment on the snowy curb.

Tana says Allie claims Gwen is going to die soon and, furious at the secrecy, threatens violence if Gwen won’t explain. With Robin demanding truth and Tana pressing for clarity, Gwen is cornered into confronting the danger surrounding her, setting the stage for disclosures and decisions she can no longer postpone.
