Isla unlocks the vault, confronting a starless void that feels overwhelmingly powerful yet appears empty. Bleeding from her hand, she searches in confusion as the room tilts with roaring pressure. Footsteps reveal Terra, Isla’s former guardian, who addresses her with cold familiarity.

Isla accuses Terra of lifelong lies, grooming her to seduce a king, murdering Isla’s parents, and now joining the Nightshades. Terra claims she acted to protect their realm and Isla, then urges Isla to come with her before making things worse. Isla refuses, calling Terra a traitor, and launches the first strike.

Isla summons the forest through the Place of Mirrors, hurling trees, vines, and stone at Terra. Terra counters with effortless precision, evading and cutting down every attack. Isla forges a massive wooden blade, then a second sword of conjured gems, pouring her rage and dwindling power into the assault.

Terra conjures a stone blade and meets Isla’s weapon midair. Their telekinetic duel rumbles across Wild Isle. When Isla attempts a killing strike from behind with the jeweled sword, Terra breaks it with a gesture, blasting Isla across the room and draining her strength.

Standing over Isla, Terra condemns Isla’s emotional volatility, then thanks her “for opening the portal for us” before leaving. Terra’s parting words unlock a buried memory in Isla, reframing the empty vault and suggesting a larger Nightshade plan already in motion.
