Isla acknowledges plans to visit the Wildling newland but not to live there permanently. Azul concludes Lightlark must become her chosen home and invites her to see Sky Isle. He carries her aloft, revealing a revitalized realm where Skylings fly again and a castle integrated with open sky.

As they tour, Azul shares the day the Skyling curse struck and many fell to their deaths, underscoring his devotion to his people. He explains that after the curses, safeguards and constant protection were demanded of rulers, and pressure will mount for Isla to secure an heir.

Azul outlines alternatives to a natural heir—transferring power via a love bond or relics—warning that such transfers shorten a ruler’s life.
