Chapter 86

Dianna is restrained by Cameron and Vincent despite her pleas that Samkiel’s death will doom the world. Cameron, torn but focused on saving the enthralled Xavier, refuses to oppose Kaden. The cavern reveals Irvikuva lurking above as Kaden enters with Azrael, carrying a hematite-gray spear and the celestial book.

Kaden explains Dianna’s origin: Azrael foresaw a daughter tied to prophecy and hid newborn Dianna on Onuna with a mortal family to keep her from Unir. He claims Azrael’s landing created Eoria’s desert and later he and Victoria had Ava. Kaden asserts Dianna is celestial, Samkiel’s mate, and the loophole to break Kryella’s balance—Samkiel’s blood closed the realms; his mate’s blood can open them.

Dianna rejects Kaden’s twisted claim of love and affirms that Samkiel healed what Kaden broke. Enraged yet resolute, Kaden admits he tried to substitute Ava, then fed her to Tobias when she proved too weak. He declares he will keep Dianna regardless of time or cost.

Spikes pierce Dianna, bleeding out her sealed power as a fissure opens overhead to alien stars and a red moon. At Kaden’s signal, Azrael seats the spear into a mold; Irvikuva pour Dianna’s blood to complete the weapon. The spear awakens, iridescent with runes and twin blades, crafted to kill Samkiel.

Armored in horned plates, Kaden opens a flame portal. Xavier leaps through, then Cameron. Kaden commands Azrael to keep his daughter captive and vows, “Let chaos reign,” before departing to hunt Samkiel. Dianna, helpless and bleeding, realizes the guardians’ end and the realms’ collapse are imminent, and she fades into darkness.
