Overview
Logan follows his soul-bond through collapsing Yejedin, driven by Dianna’s cataclysmic rampage, and discovers Neverra chained among corpses. Their reunion lands amid mounting destruction, raising stakes for escape and the larger confrontation with Kaden.
Summary
Logan races through Yejedin’s shaking corridors as Dianna unleashes devastating power that tears at the mountain. His rings urge flight, but the strengthening soul-bond to Neverra pulls him onward. He cuts down attacking golems with speed, determined to reach her before the fortress collapses.
Following the bond into the castle’s depths, Logan reaches a chamber lined with chained corpses and finds Neverra bound, dehydrated, and bruised. He severs her restraints and catches her as she falls, both breaking down as recognition and relief surge through their bond.
Logan invokes the Mark of Dhihsin and links palms with Neverra, channeling his strength into her. As their souls merge, her wounds close and her body restores, while Logan staggers from the transfer. Neverra steadies him, alarmed at his weakness, but Logan insists he will be fine.
Rumbles and falling rock punctuate their reunion. When Neverra asks what’s happening, Logan explains the quakes are Dianna “working through her problems” as the destructive roars continue, underscoring the urgency to escape and the scale of Dianna’s unleashed fury.
