Dianna tortures the near-drained werewolf Julian in a wrecked bar, taunting him about his father Caleb’s absence and threatening to rip out Julian’s heart to force a howl. She leverages pain and intimidation until the pack arrives, then coolly confronts Caleb for failing to help “her” and for serving Kaden.

When Caleb threatens her, Dianna demands his blood, revealing she had Camilla spell the local water to strip magical contingencies. Caleb submits, and Dianna bites his neck. The blood triggers a memory: Caleb reports to Tobias about their search and is ordered to gather all beasts for a final meeting before preparing for the equinox, with Kaden avoiding exposure. Tobias departs through a flaming portal, saying, “Let chaos reign.”

Back in the bar, Dianna erects a wall of fire and interrogates Caleb. He admits the equinox is a major celestial event happening soon, explaining Kaden’s rush for the book. He says everyone in Kaden’s court knew—except Dianna. Dianna connects the covert tracking of her to Caleb’s photographer cousin and condemns Caleb’s choices.

Determined to make the pack pay as she did when “she” died, Dianna drops the flames and executes Caleb by tearing off his head in front of the wolves. As the pack closes in, Dianna, blood-soaked and unflinching, invites their attack, signaling her escalating war against Kaden’s network.
