Bel and Rachel flee hand in hand through the logging yard while Jeff and Charlie pursue them. Rachel hurts her ankle after tripping on metal, but Rachel insists they must reach her car. When Bel and Rachel get to the front gates, Jeff’s car is blocking Rachel’s car in, leaving only inches of space and preventing their escape.

Rachel tries to force the car free by reversing into Jeff’s car and driving into the chained gates, but the angle barely changes. Bel and Rachel see Charlie has been freed and is coming toward them with a flashlight, so Rachel orders Bel to run. Bel helps Rachel down the road and suggests reaching the reservoir and main road, but Charlie’s light catches them, forcing Rachel to lead Bel into the trees.

Bel and Rachel climb uphill through the forest, hoping to lose Charlie and hide near Mascot Mine. Because of Rachel’s injured ankle and the darkness, Rachel realizes they have climbed too high and reached Point Lookout instead of the mine entrance below. Knowing Charlie is following their light and that Rachel is slowing Bel down, Rachel turns off Bel’s phone flashlight and tells Bel to run alone while Rachel draws Charlie to the ledge.

Bel obeys for only a moment, then decides she cannot abandon Rachel. Bel returns to Point Lookout and finds Charlie attacking Rachel while Jeff restrains Bel, warning that Charlie is not safe. Charlie pins Rachel down with his foot on Rachel’s throat and raises an axe, but Carter suddenly runs from the trees and shoves Charlie away from Rachel.

Carter’s push makes Charlie stumble toward the cliff edge. Jeff pulls Carter back to safety, but Charlie grabs Jeff’s shirt as Charlie falls. Charlie disappears over the edge of Point Lookout, dragging Jeff down with him as one of them screams.
