After Rachel discovers and disables the hidden camera, Bel panics because the trap has failed. Refusing to let Rachel leave without answers, Bel runs from Ash and sneaks to Grandpa Pat’s living room window to see what Rachel is doing inside.

Bel tries to look in without being noticed, but Rachel is standing still and sees Bel immediately. Rachel calls Bel by name through the glass and tells Bel to come around to the front door, forcing Bel into a confrontation she cannot avoid.

Inside, Bel lies that she came looking for a missing water bottle and then challenges Rachel about why Rachel is there instead of at a doctor’s appointment. Rachel claims she got the appointment date wrong, came for Pat’s walk, found Pat and Yordan gone, and let herself in with the spare key to look for a birthday present idea for Pat.

Rachel admits she saw the camera on the shelf, but Bel covers by saying Charlie installed it months earlier to check on Pat before his second stroke and that it has been disconnected since Yordan arrived. Rachel appears to accept the explanation, while Bel also explains her presence at the window by saying she heard someone inside and noticed the spare key was missing.

The encounter becomes a tense stalemate, with both Bel and Rachel aware they may have caught each other lying. Rachel eventually suggests they go home and offers Bel a ride, leaving Bel with no easy way to refuse.
